Kick-off of the Tangier Mediterranean Short Film Festival

The 12th edition of the Tangier Mediterranean Short Film Festival (FCMMT), organized under the High Patronage of HM King Mohammed VI, opened on Monday evening at the cinematheque of the city of the Strait.During the opening ceremony, which took place in the presence notably of the Wali of the Tangier-Tetouan region, Governor of the Tangier-Asilah prefecture, Mr. Mohamed El Yaakoubi, the Mayor of Tangier, Fouad El Omari, and a galaxy of Moroccan and foreign filmmakers, the Director of the Moroccan Cinematographic Centre (CCM), Sarim Fassi Fihri, stressed the importance of this festival, which has become an unmissable event to make Moroccan cinematographic production known and to discover that of the Mediterranean rim.Since its launch, this event has contributed to the influence of Moroccan cinema, by highlighting the show makers in the Kingdom, added Mr. Fassi Fihri, noting that the CCM…
