The third edition of the Tinghir Cinema Festival will take place from 10 to 12 April, under the theme "Cinematographic creation, a gateway to sustainable development", announces a press release from the organisers.

Initiated by the Arts Without Borders Association, this event aims to enrich the cultural space of the Tinghir province and offer young people in the region the opportunity to learn about cinematographic experiences outside the mechanisms of commercial distribution.

According to the press release, this initiative intends to encourage young creators to refine their talents in terms of creativity, production and writing, through training workshops initiated by professionals and specialists. The planned workshops relate to scriptwriting, directing and camera work.

After viewing a large number of films, the selection committee chose a series of films meeting the criteria of quality, novelty and creativity.

In addition to a cinema morning dedicated to the children of this city located in the south-east of the country, the organisers also planned to pay tribute to local and national potential in the field of cinema.
