The 16th edition of the Taza International Children's Theatre Festival concluded on a high note.

The event was organised by the Ministry of Culture, from 23 to 25 April, in collaboration with the Taza prefecture, the Taza-Al Hoceïma-Taounate regional council, the provincial council, the urban commune, and civil society actors.

This cultural gathering, intended to root and instil a theatrical culture dedicated to young people, saw the participation of several artistic troupes from all over Morocco, as well as others from Spain, France, Tunisia, Algeria, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Ivory Coast, Lebanon, and Kuwait.

The festival opened with a set of new activities, such as the organisation of a painting exhibition at Espace Mimosa, the announcement of the results of the "Taza Prize for Literature" organised in coordination with the "Friends of the Taza Association", as well as a seminar on "Literary writing for children".
