Moulay Yacoub Province - Nearly 1.3 billion DH for agricultural development
Five flagship agricultural projects with a total budget of 1,315,216 DH enrich the economy of the Moulay Yacoub province and constitute, through their diversity and richness, the engine of development for its agricultural sector.
With its beautiful plains offering significant agricultural potential, the Moulay Yacoub province is betting on agriculture for its development and its integration into the regional economy. It is currently relying on five major flagship agricultural projects. For the development of the olive sector, the Millenium Challenge Account (MCA) project, launched a few years ago, is reflected in the extension of the olive-growing area by 6,500 ha, the rehabilitation of plantations over an area of 2,000 ha, and the valorisation of production through the purchase of a crushing unit, training, and supervision of farmers. This project, which should absorb a budget of 300 million DH, covers the rural communes of Ouled Mimoun, Louadaine, Ain Kansara, and Ain Bouali and should benefit some 5,000 farmers.The second project, with a budget of 5 million DH, concerns the creation of a complex for the valor…
