The children of "L'Heure Joyeuse" on a summer camp in the city of the Strait

Aged between 7 and 20, the beneficiaries of this operation, which was organised during the month of Ramadan, were escorted by 12 chaperones, including 5 trainers from the French association. A programme was devised for this operation, in terms of both entertainment and visits during the holy month, including a trip to the Renault-Nissan factory. Indeed, taking advantage of their presence in the city of the Strait and as part of its support for various associations and organisations in the northern region of the Kingdom, the factory management organised an Open Day entirely dedicated to them. A day rich in activities, including a tour of the site's workshops, where they received explanations on the processes of the various operations, the objective being to show them how the factory works. Subsequently, two drawing workshops on the theme of "Road Safety" were organised, during which each student gave free rein to their imagination, under the attentive eyes of the chaperones. After the exhibition of their "works", the children were invited to a ceremony held under the sign of song and dance, in a friendly atmosphere. As a closing gesture, Jacques Prost, the factory director, presented souvenir gifts to the best artists, before the famous souvenir photo. "Since its creation in 1953, "L'Heure Joyeuse" has been fighting for education and health for young children from disadvantaged backgrounds. Since then, numerous actions have marked its fifty years of existence, making our association a true social entrepreneur and a recognised partner of public authorities, businesses, local communities, and the associative and media field of our country," indicates Mohamed Harir, head of the Education division at "L'Heure Joyeuse". At the same time, every summer, the association has been organising summer camps in one of the cities of the Kingdom since 1954. Over the years, the association's children have spent pleasant stays in Ouarzazate, Agadir, Safi, Oujda, Saïdia, Al Hoceima, and other cities of the Kingdom.

It should be noted, moreover, that "L'Heure Joyeuse" and "Les apprentis d'Auteuil" have been linked since 2005 through a partnership, within the framework of which children from the French association took part in this summer getaway.
