The Ibdaâ (creation) association for culture and communication is organising the fifth edition of the "Smile of Casablanca" Festival in Aïn Chock until 30 July. Egypt is the guest of honour for this edition, which pays tribute to Arab culture in its diversity. The festival welcomes artists from Iraq, Jordan, Syria, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Yemen, Sudan, and Morocco.

It includes an exhibition of Arab heritage, a space to present young talents, and a space dedicated to children. The programme also includes conferences and round tables. From 27 July, music lovers will have an appointment with concerts by Hamid Kasri, Ach Kayn, Issam Kamal, Saïda Fikri, the groups Mesnaouat Miloud, Ahidouss Taounat, and the singer Fahd El Kassem from Iraq.
