The professors and staff of the INBA of Tétouan have been, since Monday 4 June, on an open-ended strike against their poor working conditions and the dismissal of their director.

A very tense atmosphere reigns at the INBA of Tétouan. And for good reason, the professors and staff of the Institute have been, since Monday 4 June, on an unlimited strike. They are protesting against their poor working conditions and the dismissal of their director, the artist-painter and sculptor Abdelkrim Ouazzani. They qualify this decision as arbitrary and unjust. The protesters consider this dismissal as a kind of humiliation for all the staff of the INBA of Tétouan, especially since Mr. Ouazzani, who has dedicated his whole life "to the service of the Institute," has less than a year left before retiring.
