The rural world was in the spotlight on the sidelines of the launch of the ONEE Educational Village in Sidi Bennour (from 30 September to 5 October 2014). This involved the distribution of donations of educational material to help with environmental awareness and education. The chosen establishment is the "Badr" eco-school in Tnine Gharbia, as a reward for the efforts it has made over the years to instil good environmental protection practices in schoolchildren, which had also earned it the "Green Flag" label.
The donation consists of educational kits (films, video games and quizzes) in addition to two computer stations implemented (a computer and a table). An action rich in meaning for this eco-school, as it will strengthen its didactic and educational resources to help it continue its noble mission of supervising schoolchildren in the rural world for the defence of the coastline. This ecological operation should also be measured by the temptation fostered among students to come to school to use this educational material, which at the same time prepares them to start the school season with a sense of pleasure. This eminently educational and social operation is part of the accompanying measures for the "All for a sustainable coastline" action, initiated by the ONEE in favour of eco-schools, an action which itself is in line with the "Clean Beach" programme of the Mohammed VI Foundation for Environmental Protection, chaired by H.R.H. Princess Lalla Hasnaa. A project aiming in the long term to establish schoolchildren as relays for future generations for the defence of the environment, in urban and rural areas. The ceremony for the presentation of the equipment took place on Tuesday 30 September 2014 within the premises of the Educational Village installed at the entrance to the city of Sidi Bennour.
