The 95th edition of the Cherry Festival, from 4 to 7 June

This festival is the fifth Moroccan cultural heritage inscribed on the UNESCO Representative List, after the cultural space of the Jemaa el-Fna square in Marrakech, the Moussem of Tan-Tan, the Mediterranean diet, and "falconry, a living human heritage".The 95th edition of the Sefrou Cherry Festival will take place from 4 to 7 June, at the joint initiative of the provincial council and the "Hab Lamlouk" Association.As usual, this festival which celebrates its third year of inscription on the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage, foresees the participation of several foreign countries including the United Arab Emirates and France.Organised in partnership with the Sefrou province, this cultural event, which has now become an unmissable meeting for folklore and popular art enthusiasts, will be opened by the torchlight retreat and brass band ceremony.
