Oujda organises its first comedy festival

The "Tourism without Borders" Association is organising, in partnership with the S&J Event Agency, the first Oujda International Comedy Festival on 6 and 7 February. A major cultural event that aims to bring its touch of creativity to the emergence of a new artistic culture in the region. "This obviously happens through the implementation of development strategies based on the organisation of such large-scale events at an international level", the organisers specify. "What seems attractive in our festival is the fact that it will bring together, during the same event, recognised artists from the comedy scene but also young budding talents", adds the same source.

The programme for this first edition is structured around two evenings that will take place at the Mohammed VI Theatre in Oujda with more than 2,000 spectators expected, who will have the opportunity to attend original shows, staged for the occasion and bringing together a galaxy of renowned artists, such as the Moroccans Khalid Zbayel and Hamza Filali, the Franco-Tunisian Samia Oroselane, and the Algerian Abdelkader Secteur. Not forgetting the local comedians, Duo Lawya and Mr. Mim.
