The city of Ksar El Kébir is hosting the second edition of the Taktouka Al Jabalia Festival from 23 to 26 August, under the theme "Taktouka Jabalia, the memory of the North and the creativity of generations," at the initiative of the Al Serif Association for the heritage of Taktouka Al Jabalia. According to a statement from the organisers, this cultural event will see the participation of great names in Taktouka Al Jabalia and Gnawa, including Hamid El Kasri, Hajji Srifi, Abdou El Ouazzani, Abdelmalek El Andaloussi, Abdesslam Sahili, and Latifa Aroussia, as well as young artists, notably Yassin Riland, Said Hajji, and the children of Al Ghiwane. This festival aims to promote cultural entertainment in the city of Ksar El Kébir, support cultural tourism, and strengthen the knowledge of rising generations about authentic Moroccan heritage in its various artistic and cultural dimensions, in addition to preserving this ancestral heritage that reflects the cultural diversity of Morocco.

This event also aims to create a meeting space dedicated to different generations of artists and to allow young artists to learn from the great names of Taktouka Al Jabalia and popular music in general. The same source indicates that the closing ceremony of the festival will be marked by tributes to great figures of Taktouka Al Jabalia, in recognition of their contributions to the preservation of the national artistic memory.
