The Olympique Club de Khouribga tasted its tenth defeat of the season bitterly against Hassania d'Agadir, in the match that brought them together for the nineteenth day of the Botola Pro Elite1, by two goals to nil. The Souss team managed to score them in the first period from the penalty spot and from a monumental error by the defence and goalkeeper Amine El Bourkadi.

Coach Ahmed El Ajlani's reading of the match did not succeed for him because of his poor choices, his failing technical-tactical scheme, which tangibly confirmed his failure and sterility. Thus, he focused on defence and the long-ball game which did not benefit the team.

During the second half, the entry of Najib El Mouaatani gave a little tone to the Khouribga attack which created numerous opportunities, but the attackers missed them lamentably, highlighting the team's carelessness. Indeed, Rachid Tiberkanine missed an incredible chance to reduce the difference by converting a penalty off-target and Brahim Bezghoudi excelled by missing a series of clear-cut goal opportunities.

The match ended in a stinging defeat which revealed the fragility of the choices, the sterility of the technical approach, and paved the way for Olympique Khouribga towards the second division. As a reminder, the phosphate team has not won a match since November 2015, bottom of the table, with only 14 points in the piggy bank, two lengths behind the second-to-last team in the championship.
