A man was struck down on Sunday by a train, transporting phosphate, at an unguarded level crossing located at the entrance to the city of Khouribga.

The victim, aged 42, passed away on the spot, it is specified from a local source.

The circumstances of this tragedy remain, for the moment, undetermined, it is added from the same source.

This is the second accident of its kind and in the same place in less than two months. A similar accident had cost the life last January to a person who was preparing to cross the railway track, at the moment of the passage of a passenger train coming from Oued Zem and bound for Casablanca.
