Within the framework of its programme to fight poverty in the different regions of the Khouribga province, an information day, initiated by the National Mutual Aid delegation and the Khouribga province, was organised at the headquarters of the Chamber of Commerce, in the presence of the governor, the provincial delegate of National Mutual Aid, and other personalities, to evaluate the role and importance of social protection establishments (EPS) in the care of people in precarious situations.

The day was opened by the governor of the province. He emphasised the support of the province and the National Mutual Aid delegation to the EPS to succeed together in this noble mission concerning reception, accommodation, food, paramedical care, and socio-educational follow-up and support for people living in need and precariousness. Also inviting these establishments to redouble their efforts to stay on course for success, the governor insisted on the need to raise the level of social services, while seeking other funding from benefactors. As for the provincial delegate of National Mutual Aid, his intervention was mainly focused on the reorganisation of these EPS within the framework of Law 14-05 relating to the conditions of opening, exercise, and management. As a reminder, about twenty of these EPS are currently operating in different regions of the province.

Finally, it should be noted that cheques were handed over to the listed EPS for promotion and operation in better conditions.
