The families of the late Algerian artists, Cheb Hasni and Cheb Akil, have banned their concert, which was scheduled to be organised in the city of Tangier, Morocco, according to what was announced by the company organising the event.
The company concerned confirmed in a statement published on its official 'Instagram' account that the two concerts were cancelled due to the refusal of the artists' families. It stated, "Believing that art is the highest form of expression to unite peoples, we at 'WAH PROD EVENT' decided to organise a karaoke concert bringing together the late artists 'Cheb Hasni' and 'Cheb Akil' on Friday, January 31, at the Boukmah Cultural Centre in Tangier."
