Tanjazz labelled by UNESCO
Tanjazz is the first and only Moroccan festival labelled by UNESCO. A rare label that salutes a "diplomacy of music". The UN organisation also salutes the international dimension of Tanjazz, whose sixteenth edition, under the title "The jazz of the 5 continents".By choosing to award its label to the Tangier Jazz Festival, the UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization) office in Rabat salutes a musical event perfectly embodying the human values of meeting, listening, sharing and peace that the United Nations Organisation advocates. UNESCO also salutes the international dimension of Tanjazz, whose sixteenth edition, under the title "The jazz of the 5 continents", invites us to take a world tour in 5 days, 22 bands and 100 musicians...
