A delegation, composed of 40 economic operators, businessmen, and Chinese diplomats, recently carried out a prospecting visit for investment opportunities in Tangier. Led by the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China in Rabat, Wang Meng, this delegation was received at the Tangier Free Zone by Mehdi Tazi, Managing Director of Tanger Free Zone (TFZ), where it visited several industrial units operating in different sectors. "The purpose of this visit is to explore and prospect for investment opportunities in Tangier, which has various assets and offers several advantages. The objective is to share these opportunities with investors and economic operators in China. Our ambition is to develop logistical exchanges between Morocco and China," declared Wang Meng, the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China, to the newspaper "Le Matin".
