Tangier: 55 candidates for irregular migration arrested and four inflatable boats seized – Al Yaoum 24

Police elements in the Tangier Security Prefecture managed, this Friday morning, December 27, to abort an illegal immigration operation via sea routes and arrest 55 candidates for irregular migration.
A security source told "Al Yaoum 24" that this security operation was carried out in coordination with local authorities in the "Rahrah" tropical area in Tangier, resulting in the apprehension of 55 candidates for illegal immigration who were being sheltered in several houses in the same area, in addition to seizing four inflatable boats.
The apprehended individuals have been subjected to judicial investigation procedures conducted under the supervision of the competent Public Prosecution, to uncover all the circumstances and details of this case, while investigations and inquiries are still ongoing to arrest all participants and contributors to the commission of these criminal acts.
