This was stated by the Director of Police, Safety, Security and Environment at the National Ports Agency (ANP), M'Hammed Atmani, on Saturday at the port of Tan-Tan, during the visit of Abdelkader Aâmara, Minister of Energy, Mines, Water and Environment.
The latter visited the site to closely monitor the situation of the tanker "Silver" and to learn about the progress of the fuel pumping operation as well as the actions planned to free the ship.
According to the same source, work will continue tirelessly to complete the pumping within two days and thus be able to proceed with the repair and towing of the ship.
