The 2nd edition of the Tadart Festival of Popular Arts will be held from 12 to 14 September in the rural commune of Tadart (Guercif province), under the theme "Popular arts, memory of generations". This event, initiated by the "Issafen Guercif" association in partnership with the Royal Institute of Amazigh Culture (IRCAM) and the Agency for the Promotion and Development of the North, is part of the promotion of tourist and cultural events in the commune of Tadart and the enhancement of its socio-economic and environmental potential. It aims, according to the organisers, to encourage local cultural tourism, revive and enhance the cultural and artistic heritage of the region, and promote local popular artists, as well as Amazigh art and culture. This festival, organised with the support of the Guercif provincial prefecture, the Taza-Al Hoceima-Taounate Regional Council, the rural commune of Tadart, and several associations, will see the organisation of artistic shows, poetry evenings, a book fair, in addition to exhibitions of handicrafts and traditional tapestry.
