Amazigh culture in the spotlight

"Amazighity: roots and extensions" is the theme of the ninth edition of the National Festival of Amazigh Culture of Guercif, which will be held from 27 to 29 July. Initiated by the Adrar-Guercif Association in partnership with the Royal Institute of Amazigh Culture (IRCAM) and the Agency for the Development of the Northern Provinces, this festival aims, according to a press release, to contribute to making Berber cultural and artistic potential known, to encourage artistic groups through their participation in ceremonies in their honour and to create artistic and recreational activities for the benefit of the population of the city of Guercif.
