Passenger traffic at Fès-Saïss airport saw an increase of 8.76% during the first two months of 2016 compared to the same period of the previous year. Some 129,344 travellers passed through Fès-Saïss airport at the end of February 2016, against 118,924 passengers during the same period of the previous year, indicate statistics from the National Airports Office (ONDA). Fès-Saïss airport welcomed during the single month of February some 62,335 passengers against 56,765 during the same period of 2015, an increase of 9.81%.

At the national level, overall commercial passenger air traffic recorded an increase of 5.64% in February 2016 compared to the same month last year. A total of 886,525 travellers passed through Fès-Saïss airport during 2015, against 791,564 passengers during the year before, an increase of 12%. Fès-Saïss airport occupied the 5th position after those of Casablanca-Mohammed V, Marrakech-Ménara, Agadir-Al Massira, and Rabat-Salé in the ranking of commercial air traffic by zone.
