The new terminal of the Fes-Saiss airport, intended to bring the annual reception capacity of the airport to 2.5 million passengers, will be ready very soon.

Designed to meet the constant increase in passenger traffic at the level of the spiritual capital and accompany the economic dynamic of the region, the new terminal, with a total cost of 479 million DH, is part of a large extension project of the Fes-Saiss airport.

Also intended to respond to the arrival of new companies and the creation of new additional routes, this large-scale airport structure, whose work was launched in 2011, is built on a total area of 17,000 m2.

The new terminal, whose construction work is financed by the ONDA and the African Development Bank (AfDB), aims at the extension of the aircraft parking and the connecting taxiways with the takeoff runway as well as the setting up of a new parking lot of 800 places for cars.

The Fes-Saiss airport, as a platform of choice for several low-cost companies, welcomes thousands of Moroccan and foreign tourists every year.
