The case of the Khénifra kidnapper has not finished arousing the interest and curiosity of local public opinion. Several questions remain unanswered and clarity is lacking. The accused, who was presented before the King's prosecutor at the court of first instance, is in his sixties and claims to be from a city in the Rif. According to elements of the investigation, the man in question claims to be a nurse, but sources close to the investigation assured that he had a badge presenting him as a paediatrician. Still according to these sources, the kidnapper denied all the accusations. He maintains that he is a simple benefactor who wanted to draw the child's attention to the evils of his obesity. Which pushed, according to our sources, the King's prosecutor to return this mysterious file to the police for additional information and deepening of the investigation.

Civil society has also stepped up to the plate and we believe we know that the "Don't touch my child" Association is trying to contact the victim's mother to support her and condemn this new crime against childhood, especially since the father is a worker abroad and would only return to the country in a week. Furthermore, the accused is said to have been divorced since 1989 and is the father of three children.
