The recommendations of the National Human Rights Council regarding detention conditions and interrogations will not go unnoticed by the security authorities in Essaouira, who, on the occasion of the 58th anniversary of the National Security celebrated on May 16th, confirmed that their new headquarters located in the administrative district will open its doors to users once these premises are adapted to said recommendations. On the same occasion, Mohammed Al Amaoui, General Controller of National Security in Essaouira, presented a report on his services, highlighting his intervention strategy focused on an efficient redeployment of staff who assume an anticipatory role in order to fight against crime. Commendable efforts provided on a daily basis, which have spared Mogador, among other things, certain criminal phenomena such as "Tcharmil". The concern of the mounted brigade and the tourist brigade was once again mentioned by the General Controller, who also welcomed the effectiveness of the coordination between the various security forces in the context of supporting the various sporting, musical, religious, and cultural events that Mogador frequently hosts. With figures and statistics to support his claims, the head of National Security presented a report on the various services in the context of the fight against crime, offenses against public morality, drug trafficking, road safety, the generalization of the biometric card, as well as the securing of the surroundings of school establishments.
