The Amendis company of Tetouan, which manages liquid sanitation, drinking water, and electricity services, has just set up a Central Control Bureau (BCC) in order to best meet the expectations of its clients, both private and industrial.
The BCC, the first of its kind in the Tangier-Tetouan region, reflects "the ambition to ensure the continuity of supply by allowing the remote control and command of certain parts of the medium-voltage network", explained Amendis during a meeting with the press.
The experiment also aims to improve customer service, particularly in favour of populated districts and industrial zones, and to minimise the number and duration of service interruptions, whether they are due to incidents, work, or network maintenance.
These new electrical installations, the cost of which is more than 45 million dirhams, allow for the remote control of switching devices, remote metering (current and voltage), and remote signalling of any incident on the electrical structure from a command centre.
