The opponents of Moghreb Tétouan and FUS Rabat in the 2013 version of the African Champions League are known. This weekend, they will have to roll up their sleeves, because the two African opponents are endowed with great experience in terms of continental competitions. Furthermore, eight teams were exempted from the preliminary round. These are the Egyptian formations of Al Ahly, title holder, the Tunisian Espérance Tunis (African vice-champion), the Congolese TP Mazembe, the Sudanese Al Merrikh and Hilal, the Malian Djoliba and Stade Malien, in addition to the Algerian club Entente Sétif. In the Confederation Cup (CAF), the two clubs to represent Morocco during the 10th edition of these jousts, namely AS FAR and Wydad Casablanca, were exempted from the preliminary round. In the round of 16 (first leg March 15-17, return leg April 5-7), the Red and Whites will face the winner of the match between the Beninese club Mogas 90 and the Togolese AS Douanes, while the military formation will cross swords with the winner of the match between Al Nasir (Libya) and Khartoum Watani (Sudan).
