The disabled of the North make their voice heard
Several associations of disabled people in the north have formed a network in order to have their role recognised in official bodies.
All associations working in the field related to serious illnesses or disabilities are now grouped into the "Network in charge of disabled people in northern Morocco". The creation of this new network is intended to group together the various private initiatives and amplify their impact. The main mission of this important network is to "integrate disability into various public policies", notably in partnership with the world organisation "Handicap International". To this end, a programme specially designed for North Africa was presented by the Spanish Agency for International Cooperation.
