The elements of the Tetouan judicial police succeeded, on Wednesday evening, in laying their hands on the two individuals who robbed a money transfer agency in this city on Monday, seizing a sum of nearly 200,000 dirhams, it was learned on Thursday from a police source.

The two suspects were arrested in Rabat, while their accomplice was arrested in Tetouan, it was specified from the same source, noting that the latter, who acted as a lookout outside at the time of the robbery, is none other than an employee of a mobile phone agency adjacent to the agency. From the same source, it is specified that a good part of the loot has been recovered.

According to the statements collected on Monday by the judicial police from the agency's only employee, these two individuals took advantage of the absence of customers to enter the agency and neutralise the latter by tying him up and putting adhesive tape over his mouth.

The two suspects seized the sum of 200,000 dirhams placed in a safe before leaving the scene.
