The League of Arab Sports Pioneers is organising, from 1 to 7 December at the Moulay Rachid Institute of Sports in Salé, a scientific colloquium on sports facilities, as well as a training session focused on managing the general public.
Initiated in coordination with the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Moroccan National Olympic Committee and several scientific centres, this conference will deal with the safety of sports facilities and will be marked by a series of field exercises, in addition to the presentation of papers on the latest means, equipment and techniques used in the field, indicates a press release from the League.
Furthermore, the League is organising a training session dedicated to crowd, public and athlete management tools, means of combating violence in stadiums and managing supporter stampedes, adds the same source.
Accredited by the Union of Arab National Olympic Committees, the League of Arab Sports Pioneers, which was born last March in Salé, sets itself the objectives of organising competitions for all age categories in coordination with local Federations, intensifying inter-Arab visits and promoting the performances of sports pioneers who have left their mark on the Arab sports scene.
