Salé (in Arabic: سلا) is a city in Morocco. It is located on the country's Atlantic coast, on the right bank of the Bouregreg estuary, opposite Rabat. It is bordered to the east by the province of Khémisset, to the south by the prefecture of Rabat, to the west by the Atlantic Ocean, and to the north by the province of Kénitra. The inhabitants of Salé are called Slaouis or Ahl-Sala in Arabic, while in French, they are known as Salétins.
