HM the King inaugurates the first phase of the "Oujda Shore" Offshoring centre
His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist him, proceeded on Thursday to the inauguration of the first phase of the "Oujda Shore" Offshoring centre, a project that brings the Oriental region into the era of Offshoring by offering world-class infrastructure as well as management and animation services.
This project is in direct line with the Royal Initiative for the development of the Oriental region, which aims to stimulate investment, encourage the creation of small and medium-sized enterprises by young people, equip the region with the necessary basic infrastructure, and encourage major economic projects as a priority.Having required investments of around 120 million dirhams, this first phase of Oujda Shore involved the construction of two buildings dedicated to offshoring activities (7,500 m²), tertiary activities, and technopole services (3,500 m²). This offshoring platform, which is aimed in particular at specialists in customer management, IT development and maintenance, and administrative processes (BPO), will generate some 1,200 direct jobs.
