The flights will be operated by an "Embraer ERJ145", a 50-seat aircraft, the company specifies in a press release.
Two weekly flights will be scheduled between the Spanish capital and Ouarzazate, every Thursday and Sunday.
The president of Air Europa, Juan José Hidalgo, stressed that the destination of the Moroccan tourist city, which enjoys a "mild climate and refined culture", will be "attractive" for European customers.
Hidalgo, quoted by the company's press release, also highlighted Ouarzazate's place as a cinematographic reference, as well as the hospitality of the Moroccan people.
Founded in 1986, Air Europa was the first private Spanish airline to operate scheduled flights. The Air Europa fleet is considered one of the youngest in the world, with an average age of 6.36 years. It consists of 45 aircraft: 13 Airbus A330-200s, 21 Boeing 737-800s, and 11 Embraer 195s.
