Ouarzazate Airport: traffic up by 28.35% in July

Passenger traffic at Ouarzazate airport recorded an increase of 28.35% last July compared to the same month of the previous year. Statistics from the National Airports Office (ONDA) show that some 2,042 passengers passed through Ouarzazate airport during last July, against 1,591 passengers during the same month of the previous year. In terms of aircraft movements, Ouarzazate airport recorded 64 flights in July, against 38 flights during the same month of 2013, an increase of 68.42%. Regarding the first seven months of 2014, passenger traffic saw a decrease of 1.94%, with a total of 31,678 passengers who passed through Ouarzazate airport, against 32,304 people during the same period of last year.
