More than 1,500 participants in the 6th stage of the federal cross-country
More than 1,500 athletes in the various categories (minimes, cadets, juniors, and seniors) took part in the 6th stage of the federal cross-country, organized on Sunday in Marrakech. Initiated by the Royal Moroccan Athletics Federation (FRMA), in collaboration with the Marrakech-Safi Athletics League, this sporting event aimed to select the best participants for the Arab Cross Country Championship in Jordan, and to prepare the athletes for the World Athletics Championships, scheduled for September in Tokyo. In the Seniors category (10 km), Hafid Rizki, from the Bejaad club, won first place among men, while Soukaina Atanane from the Ben Smim club won among women. In the junior-women category (6 km), Saïda Bouzi, from the Wifaq Riadi Fassi club, took first place, while Mohamed Zaouia (same club) won among junior-men (8 km).
