The International Hockey Federation will hold its next congress in Marrakech from October 27 to November 02, indicated the Royal Moroccan Hockey Federation.

Spread over seven days, this congress is held every two years and includes meetings of the presidents of all national Federations and continental Confederations, notably training and networking activities and the holding of an exhibition in which sponsors participate, indicates the Federation in a press release sent to the MAP.

This event, whose influence is recognised at the global level, would contribute strongly to the positioning and influence of Morocco at all levels, it is added.

On the sidelines of this congress, an International Hockey Festival will be held on the Jamaâ El Fna square, on Saturday, October 31 and Sunday, November 1, in order to make the discipline accessible to the public and to present another form of Olympic sporting activity dating back more than half a century in Morocco.

Several activities will take place during this festival, including exhibition matches with the participation of the best pro players in the world and the national team and hockey schools.
