Moroccan gastronomy brought to the international stage
The second edition of MarrakChef, a gastronomic trophy intended to bring Moroccan cuisine to the international stage, will take place from 12 to 14 June in the ochre city. MarrakChef 2014, or the Moroccan Gourmet Trophy, is initiated by Riad Monceau, a high place of Moroccan gastronomy in Marrakech, in collaboration with several representations of the Moroccan National Tourism Office (ONMT) in Europe. After a first edition in 2013 devoted to exchanges between French gastronomy and Moroccan cuisine, this edition will bring together four great European starred chefs from France, Belgium, Spain and the United Kingdom. The great chefs selected, among the most exciting of the moment, will be invited to deliver their vision of Moroccan gastronomy in the form of original creations - a dish and a dessert - creating a fusion between their own culinary universe and an imposed Moroccan theme.
