Three people have been referred to the King's Prosecutor General at the Court of Cassation of Laâyoune. They are suspected of computer piracy, theft and participation in theft.

This network was dismantled after the arrest of a hacker specialising in new computer technologies. The latter was apprehended following a complaint filed by a travel agency in Laâyoune which highlighted that its computer system intended for the acquisition of travel tickets and hotel reservations had been hacked by unknown persons.

The investigations conducted by the judicial police in collaboration with experts from the scientific police made it possible to identify the hacker who had taken the habit of violating the travel agency's system. The latter was apprehended in Agadir as well as his three accomplices, which allowed the police to seize a large number of falsified bank cards and several computers.

The investigation also revealed that the said hacker had hacked some 1,700 airline tickets from various national and international airlines.
