Laayoune security investigates a case of group assault on a young man in a public street – Alyaoum 24

The Laayoune Security Prefecture has responded seriously to a video clip posted on social media platforms, showing an individual being physically assaulted by a group of people until he fell to the ground.
Investigations conducted in light of this video revealed that it concerns a criminal case being handled by a police district in the Laayoune Security Prefecture, based on a complaint filed by the victim who had an incidental dispute with the suspects.
Investigations carried out by the anti-gang squad on Saturday evening, January 18, led to the identification and arrest of one of the suspects, aged 24.
The detainee has been placed in police custody for the investigation being conducted under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor's office, while investigations continue to arrest the remaining participants in this assault.
