After Mustapha Salma: Another Sidi Mouloud joins the motherland
Bachir Boujemâa Nasri Ould Sidi Mouloud has fled the Tindouf camps, where he held the position of battalion commander in what is called the Sahrawi People's Liberation Army (SPLA). He has just returned to Morocco, and the city of Laâyoune has given him a very warm welcome. Bachir Nasri was one of the Polisario's loyalists until the day he discovered the sickening reality of the movement to which he had pledged unequivocal submission. He then realised that he was only serving Algerian generals to the detriment of the interests of the Sahrawi populations. The case of his cousin, Mustapha Salma Ould Sidi Mouloud, was at the root of Bachir Nasri's rebellion, who then became a fervent defender of the autonomy of the Saharan provinces as the only solution capable of allowing the inhabitants of these provinces to live in dignity and become masters of their own destiny.
