African Film Festival
Founded in 1977 by Moulay Ahmed Alaoui, the African Film Festival remains in the literal sense of the word a true forum for the African cinematic field. And this, through rich and varied programmes that benefit both the participants and the inhabitants of the city. This event, organised from 14 to 21 June and in which all specialists and lovers of the seventh art of Africa would like to participate, also remains a great opportunity for the Kingdom to invest in the field of inter-African co-production, while allowing African filmmakers to benefit from the technical and human resources available to the Moroccan Cinematographic Centre. In this sense, Morocco has concluded several co-production and cinematographic exchange agreements with several African countries, notably Mali (1989), Senegal (1992), the Arab Maghreb Union (1994), Egypt (1999), Côte d'Ivoire (2011), Benin and Niger (2013).…
