Osama Hammad, head of the Libyan government in the east, welcomed the outcomes of the consultative meeting between the House of Representatives and the High Council of State hosted by the Moroccan city of Bouznika, and the consensus reached between the two councils regarding the preliminary phase for restructuring the executive authority and preparing for the electoral process in this Maghreb country.
Hammad said in a post on his official account on the "X" platform: "We have followed the positive steps taken by the House of Representatives and the State Council, which embodied the true meaning of the idea that dialogue must be Libyan-Libyan for its goals to be achieved correctly."
He added: "In this regard, we express our relief and welcome the outcomes of the dialogue that took place between members of the House of Representatives and the State Council today in the city of Bouznika in the Kingdom of Morocco, especially regarding the establishment of a new executive authority consisting of a new Presidential Council and a new government, provided that the steps implementing these outcomes are carried out under the sponsorship and supervision of the African Union and the brotherly and friendly countries supporting the resolution of the conflict and ending the political division in Libya, which are: the Arab Republic of Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, the Kingdom of Morocco, the United States of America, the Republic of Turkey, the Italian Republic, the French Republic, and the United Kingdom."
