Official opening of the educational village in Agadir

Official opening of the educational village in Agadir

The Eid Al-Adha holidays being over, schoolchildren have returned to the path to school. During the week, they will make a detour to the "Educational Village" of the National Office of Electricity and Potable Water (ONEE), which will be officially opened today for a week of activity at Bijaouane Square.

Agadir constitutes the fourth stop of the Educational Caravan which tours the cities neighboring the beaches sponsored by the Office.

The goal is to approach schoolchildren for a campaign of awareness and education on respect for and protection of the environment. This local operation is part of the "All for a sustainable coastline" action initiated by the Office and which is part of the new guidelines of the "Clean Beaches" program of the Mohammed VI Foundation for the Environment, chaired by H.R.H. Princess Lalla Hasnaa.

It will therefore be the turn of the schoolchildren of the Souss capital to be warned of the threats weighing on their environment and to be educated on the means to thwart them. For this, the village has thematic stands relating to water and electricity saving and waste treatment. Interactive electronic games and ecological films complement this so that the child leaves the village sufficiently informed on the subject and with an intense desire to put into practice the lessons learned under the guidance of specialized monitors, and this, in a fun atmosphere.
