Hespress electronic newspaper has learned that the Governor of the Ain Sebaa-Hay Mohammadi districts in Casablanca has ordered the inclusion of an item related to the dismissal of the district president, Youssef El Houssinia, on the session's agenda.
According to Hespress sources, the inclusion of the mentioned item brings the dismissal of the president, who belongs to the Popular Movement party, from his position closer, as it has become a matter of time and the arrival of the session date on Wednesday.
The same sources indicated that the bloc of councillors refusing the continuation of the Haraki president in this position continues to attract councillors loyal to him, in order to vote for his dismissal in next Wednesday's session.
Hespress sources reported that prominent elected officials at the level of the Ain Sebaa district have begun moving to win the presidency position, although their consensus at this stage is to end the era of the current president.
Member of the Political Bureau of the National Rally of Independents party, Hassan Benomar, the former president of the district, aspires to win the endorsement for this position.
In contrast, the Authenticity and Modernity Party, through the current first deputy president, Karim Klaybi, seeks to preside over this district, and enjoys broad support from elected officials from various parties.
As for the Istiqlal Party, it is moving through the member of the Executive Committee, Deputy Mayor of Casablanca, Moulay Ahmed Afilal, to preside over the district.
These prominent names are awaiting Wednesday's session to begin negotiations on the name that will lead what remains of this electoral term, after agreements that may be reached centrally between the parties leading the government coalition (National Rally of Independents, Authenticity and Modernity, Istiqlal).
The Administrative Court in Casablanca ruled last Wednesday to accept the request of the Governor of the Ain Sebaa-Hay Mohammadi districts to acknowledge the refusal of the district president to include the motion demanding his resignation on the agenda of the first session of the fourth year.
Two-thirds of the members of the Ain Sebaa District Council submitted a motion to the president, Youssef El Houssinia, to hold an extraordinary session that includes the item of his dismissal, which he did not respond to in the session held during the past days.
