The research team "Innovation, Governance and Performance of Organisations (IGPO)" and the Polydisciplinary Faculty of Sidi Bennour organised on Saturday the first edition of the IGPO Scientific Day around the theme: "Managerial innovations, organisational dynamics and economic models: practices and perspectives".
This event brought together academics, experts and professionals to address the challenges and perspectives linked to digital and organisational transformations. The inaugural session was marked by the interventions of Prof. Rachid Hilal, Vice-President of Chouaib Doukkali University, Prof. Mohamed Sahabi, Dean of the FPSB, and Mr. Mohamed Saouti, First Vice-President of the Casablanca-Settat Regional Tourism Council.
"This scientific day testifies to the need to bring the academic world closer to economic realities, indicated on this occasion, Mr. Mohamed Saouti, in a statement to L'Opinion, adding that this partnership with the Faculty aims to promote innovative initiatives and to accompany students in the development of skills adapted to the needs of the market."
This 1st edition was also crowned by the signing of partnership agreements with the Casablanca-Settat Regional Tourism Council, represented by Mr. Mohamed Saouti, and the Bricoma Holding Group, represented by Mr. Youssef Benjelloun.

The day was punctuated by two main panels on organisational transformations in the era of artificial intelligence and the perspectives of managerial innovation. Practical workshops were also offered, focusing in particular on inventory management via Odoo and the creation of interactive dashboards with Power BI and ChatGPT.
Finally, the event honoured the FPSB team, supervised by Ms. Majda Khatib, for its first place in the Africa Marketing Place regional competition.
The Polydisciplinary Faculty and the IGPO team reiterated their commitment to organising similar initiatives, thus fostering dialogue between scientific research and professional practices to accompany current economic and technological transformations.
