On this occasion, awards were presented to the beneficiaries, handed over by the Minister of Industry and Trade, Ryad Mezzour, during a meeting organised under the theme "The National Initiative for Human Development for the economic inclusion of youth". This concerns a total of 20 young women and men aged between 18 and 45, who have managed to carry out economic projects in the sectors of handicrafts, services, textiles and clothing, catering and industry, modern professions and design, and in the fields of audiovisual and digitisation.
These projects, carried out by young people from the Ain Sebaa Hay Mohammadi prefecture, fall within the framework of the third phase of the National Initiative for Human Development, and in particular the programme concerning the promotion of the economic inclusion of youth, improving income, and encouraging entrepreneurship.
On this occasion, Mr. Mezzour stressed that the National Initiative for Human Development, as an ambitious royal project, has given special attention to the youth category within the projects and activities it carries out throughout the Kingdom.
Mr. Mezzour added, in a statement to the Maghreb Arabe Presse (MAP), that the National Initiative contributes significantly to bringing a group of youth projects to fruition, by providing training, guidance and financial support.
He highlighted the effective role of the National Initiative in opening new horizons and providing significant possibilities for these young people through youth platforms that help them achieve their ambitious projects and integrate them into the labour market.
For her part, Hanane Ait Aissa, president of the "Startup Crew" foundation, in charge of the administration and management of the Roches Noires platform, said that this platform aims to support young job seekers and those interested in the field of entrepreneurship, noting that since 2021, the foundation has supported about three thousand young women and men at the level of the Ain Sebaa Hay Mohammadi prefecture.
On the other hand, she highlighted that this meeting celebrated the young beneficiaries of funding for the year 2024 who have shown significant skills in the field of entrepreneurship, explaining that these young people benefited from support, guidance and training in addition to funding of up to 150,000 dirhams as support from the National Initiative for Human Development to purchase equipment and supplies to launch their projects.
In turn, Seddik Chakroune, head of the social action division at the Ain Sebaa Hay Mohammadi prefecture, confirmed that the third phase of the National Initiative for Human Development aims to improve income and the economic inclusion of youth through their training, support and the provision of technical and financial assistance, in addition to supporting cooperatives falling within the framework of the social and solidarity economy.
This meeting was marked by a number of young people benefiting from the support of the National Initiative for Human Development sharing their successful paths in entrepreneurship and creating their own businesses.
