Es-Semara.. Solidarity initiatives for the benefit of vulnerable groups

These activities, organized on the occasion of the commemoration of the presentation of the Independence Manifesto, in coordination with local authorities and civil society, aim to help needy families by providing in-kind assistance consisting mainly of basic food items, paramedical equipment, clothing, bedding, and blankets.

On this occasion, the Governor of the Es-Semara province, Mr. Brahim Boutoumilat, accompanied by elected officials and heads of external services, attended the presentation of the results of the activities of the Provincial Delegation for National Mutual Aid, the services provided by this institution, and the measures taken for better management of this social facility at the Multi-functional Space for Women.

The Governor of the province and his accompanying delegation also paid an inspection visit to the various vocational training workshops in this space, which include "Cooking and Pastry", "Cutting and Sewing", and "Hairdressing, Styling, and Beauty".

The multi-functional space, which is the subject of a multilateral agreement between the National Mutual Aid Foundation, the Provincial Committee for Human Development, and the National Union of Moroccan Women, seeks to provide reception, listening, and guidance services, legal advice to beneficiaries, provide temporary shelter, and work to support the social and professional integration of women in difficult situations.

On this occasion, about 700 food baskets were distributed to needy families, and wheelchairs, medical crutches, and other devices and equipment were distributed to people with special needs.

The Governor of the province and his accompanying delegation had visited the Lalla Amina Centre for Child Care, which is managed by the Moroccan League for Child Protection, where he inspected the various facilities of this social building, which currently houses 46 children, including 20 girls, and provides them with housing, education, and other complementary services.

On the same occasion, winter clothing, bedding, and blankets were distributed to needy groups, with the aim of helping them face the cold wave during the winter season.

This solidarity campaign, which lasts for three days, will target the communes of Sidi Ahmed Laaroussi, Jdiriya, and Haouza.

This humanitarian and social initiative, which took place in a friendly atmosphere in the presence of representatives of local authorities and civil society, was highly appreciated by the target groups.

The Provincial Delegation for National Mutual Aid in Es-Semara and the Moroccan League for Child Protection (Es-Semara branch) organized, last Saturday, a group of social and solidarity activities for the benefit of needy people or those in a fragile or special situation.
