International player Zakaria Bakkali, a descendant of the Ait Said tribe in the Driouch province and a Belgian national, has announced his official signing with the Ittihad Tanger football club.
Despite previously choosing to represent the Belgian national team instead of Morocco, Bakkali decided last weekend to join Ittihad Tanger, signing a contract that spans two and a half years.
It is worth noting that 29-year-old Zakaria Bakkali has previously played for several European teams, including the Belgian club "Anderlecht", the Spanish team "Valencia", and the Dutch team "PSV Eindhoven".
It should be noted that Zakaria Bakkali, who often enjoys spending his summer holidays with his family in Dar El Kebdani and Driouch, began his football career with the Belgian club "Standard Liège" and played his first match in 2013 against "Wales" in the qualifiers for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
