The Regional Directorate of Health and Social Protection of the Oriental region indicated on Wednesday in a statement that, to ensure the continuity of health services provided to citizens, it had taken, in coordination with the Provincial Directorate, all urgent and effective measures to rehabilitate the hospital, with the significant support of local authorities, Civil Protection, and the urban commune of Midar.
It explained that specialised and qualified intervention teams were immediately mobilised to assess the damage caused by rainwater and carry out rehabilitation work, noting that these intense efforts allowed for the resumption of full-capacity operation of all vital hospital services.
In this regard, the Regional Directorate of Health and Social Protection called on the citizens concerned to visit the hospital and benefit from the various health services it offers.
The Midar local hospital is a vital structure in the Oriental region, offering a wide range of health services, including general and specialised medical consultations, maternal and child health services, surgery, nursing care, monitoring of chronic diseases, and information and awareness services.
It should be noted that this hospital, with a capacity of 45 beds, is equipped with the latest generation of medical equipment and a significant medical and administrative staff that ensures the provision of medical and therapeutic services to the target population.
