A financial envelope of nearly one hundred million dirhams has been allocated for this project, which has been named "Dino Park" and will extend over an area of 5 hectares, according to data from the regional development company Atlas for Tourism Development of Beni Mellal-Khenifra, which explained that the project falls within the contents of the tourism roadmap for 2026.
The company stated that the call for expressions of interest aims to select an investor to take on the task of developing and managing a theme park about dinosaurs at the level of the Azilal province, noting that the park will focus on recreating dinosaurs in their real size, and highlighting the tourist landmarks of the circuits surrounding the city of Azilal, and the museum that was recently opened to the public.
The project, which also aims to promote the UNESCO label for (M'Goun Geopark), will revolve around three main areas: the Atlas Village, which will serve as a reception point revealing the tangible and intangible heritage of the region through products related to agritourism and handicrafts; the Dinosaur Valley, which will offer an interactive tour where visitors will be able to discover the environment of dinosaurs; and "Dino Park" as an area that will offer a variety of recreational activities around innovative and immersive themes.
